The event brought together some of India's finest women chess players, offering a front-row view of the remarkable talent that the country has been nurturing in the sport. Witnessing the top Indian Women Chess players at work was both inspiring and humbling.
India's ascent in women's chess has been nothing short of extraordinary. The country now boasts 18 Woman Grandmasters and 42 Women International Masters — the 3rd largest community of elite women chess players in the world. This achievement reflects the power of structured training, institutional support, and above all, the passion of young women across the country who dare to compete at the highest levels.
